Veteran technology executive moves from advisor to full-time role to drive global scale, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – November 2, 2026 – Hammerhead AI, which transforms available power in existing data centers into deployable AI inference capacity, today announced the appointment of Bobby Napiltonia as President, effective November 1, 2026.
The appointment comes less than a year after Hammerhead's $10 million seed round, as the company shifts from early momentum to its next phase of growth. Napiltonia's decision to go from advising the company to joining its leadership full-time reflects the potential he sees in the business. As Hammerhead gains significant traction, the company is expanding its team, accelerating growth through channel partnerships, including its collaborations with TD SYNNEX, Schneider Electric and other strategic partners.
An architect and creator of Salesforce AppExchange and former Chief Revenue Officer of Twilio, Napiltonia brings nearly four decades of experience building technology businesses, creating global partner ecosystems, and driving revenue growth. At Salesforce, he grew the partner ecosystem from 30 to more than 6,000 partners, and expanded channels and alliances from under 5% to about one-third of company revenue. In the energy sector, he held leadership roles at smart grid software company eMeter and smart building technology company Enlighted, both later acquired by Siemens. As President, he will build the operational and commercial foundations for lasting scale, with a relentless focus on revenue growth.
Napiltonia initially joined Hammerhead as an advisor after more than a decade of working with members of the founding team. After collaborating closely with founder and CEO Rahul Kar and gaining first-hand insight into the company’s technology and market opportunity, he decided to join full time.
While much of the industry is racing to build new infrastructure, Hammerhead is focused on unlocking capacity that already exists. Its ORCA software platform brings that capacity online for AI cloud providers and enterprises in under nine months, a timeline that keeps pace with inference demand.
